Although i tend to diagree with that assumption and think it's foolish to cut back her game. Also, she already plays good off ball so it's a moot point.
I think they will let her run the offense. It would stupid not to. Reese might get a few minutes but she just doesn't have the skills. Shooting, dribbling and passing are not that good. And she is slow.

Caitlin, she’s a cool cucumber and astonishing at execution of plays. They are both passionate, express exactly what’s on their mind, and in a special class of players. And their teams coalesce around each of them! What’s not to like?! 🎉
Two completely DIFFERENT players playing two COMPLETELY different positions. In NBA terms, it's comparing Nikola Jokic to Trae Young or Zion Williamson to Klay Thompson. Yes, they are really good, but comparing them would be odd. Now, Angel vs Kamilla Cardoso or Cailtin vs Paige works.

I think that is missing from the curriculum today. Kids do not really understand the actual messages being presented.

Maybe that wasn't the intent, but that comparison was delivered. Angel is not a high scorer. She can post people, rebound, and play defense. And she can shut people down. She is a forward and CC is a guard. It is not likely that she would be guarding CC in the first place. If she did, it would be somewhat difficult for CC to score on her!
Caitlin Clark is the only reason I would ever watch women's basketball. She is a highly skilled generational player, while Reese is just a "Brand-X" decent enough women's player. I watched some of Clark's highlights on RUclips last season, provoking me to watch the championship game. I watched for 1.5 quarters, saw the fix was in for LSU, and turned it off. Haven't watched a single play since of women's b-ball.

An issue Angel will run into in the WNBA is her height is not WNBA center height. This would put her out in shooting guard territory on offense and she is not a terrific shooter. This pushes down her current value in the draft.

Basketball is about a lot of things. Playing defense and crashing the boards wins you championships. This is something that LSU last year and SC this year did. And CC got shut down by SC. Not a rivalry. Reese is good, sometimes, but not a complete player- she needs to work on her attitude, but some of that is encouraged by her no-class coach. CC is complete both offensively and defensively. She is underrated defensively. A year from now, no one will remember Angel, at least as a ball player. WNBA reality will humble her.
